PENERAPAN METODE COOPERATIVE SCRIPT SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS DI KELAS V SD NEGERI 32 ANDALAS KECAMATAN PADANG TIMUR KOTA PADANG
Abstract
This study aims to improve motivation and learning outcomes of students on the subjects of Social Studies (IPS) in State Elementary School 32 East Andalas Padang District of Padang using Cooperative Script. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) using the method of implementation of the Cooperative Script by as much as two cycles of study. Subjects of this study is a fifth grade student who numbered 30 people. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation with data analysis techniques using a percentage of the average - average value of student learning outcomes. The results show that with the adoption of Cooperative Script students can improve students' motivation is a positive impact on student learning outcomes in social studies. This is evidenced by the percentage of student motivation on the first cycle is 87% which is well categorized and increased in the second cycle becomes 90.1% with very good category. Learning outcomes of students also increased from the first cycle to the second cycle. Average - Average student learning outcomes in the first cycle is 73, while in the second cycle increased to 85 with KKM 70. It can be concluded that the application of Cooperative Script method can improve motivation and learning outcomes of students of class V SD Negeri 32 Andalas Padang Eastern District of the city of Padang on subjects Social Studies (IPS).
